Anyway, this week has been really rough. I applied for a few jobs before the summer holidays and got two interviews but failed to secure a post. So that hit my self confidence. For one of the posts I failed to get, the feedback was amazingly positive, it was a question of timing and not my actual skill or ability that was the problem. With the return to school in this area it's really been on my mind that I want a job, so I shall keep looking and trying to find work.
The main thing this week that's really knocked me was the sudden passing of my cat Seth. If you're not a pet owner you'll probably think I'm an idiot for taking his death so hard, but after being stuck at home for so long with just the cats for company for the majority of the time I've formed very stong attatchments to all of them.

Seth was the most gregarious of the four cats I owned. He was always up to something, usually getting in the way, breaking things or being noisy. The house is quiet without him and I miss him coming for cuddles. It took me a few days to even enter the craft room. Whenever I went in their to work Seth would appear as if by magic and get in the way. He'd either decide he really, really needed a cuddle, needed to inspect drawers or sat on the desk - slap bang in the middle and usually on the item I was trying to work on.

If you sat and read this thanks for staying with me and I hope you're well.
